Our Vision, our Mission

Although primary school is free in Indonesia, the governmental financial aid to provide decent schooling is far from accurate and many schools and teaching staff still face a number of challenges, in order to teach and prepare the children for a successful life.

Some challenges for example are:
  • lack of books and adequate curricula,
  • lack of experienced and well educated staff,
  • overfull classes (> 45 children),
  • no class or lesson materials,
  • expensive higher and professional education.

Therefore, hands-on support and active initiation or participation in English teaching projects is our way to support disadvantaged students.

"A good education is like a savings account; the more you put into it, the richer you are.“

Our mission:

  • Creating and enhancing chances of a better life for the disadvantaged children and especially girls on Bali, by offering educational guidance and help, through trainings, lessons and the provision of educational materials.
  • But we do not only aim to work on their educational skills. We also help them grow in their emotional and spiritual well-being. We teach, play, discover, reflect and learn… We show them how to be investigators, risk takers and care takers, with a positive look at their future.
